Men’s Mental Health Counselling in Rondebosch
Many men learn to keep going and keep quiet. Stress, anger, low mood or relationship problems can build up for a long time before anyone talks about them. Counselling offers a confidential, down-to-earth space to do that, without judgement and without needing to have the right words.
What I can help with
Stress, burnout and work pressure
Anger and irritability
Low mood and feeling stuck or disconnected
Relationship and family difficulties, including fatherhood and separation
Alcohol use and other unhealthy ways of coping
Identity, purpose and life transitions
How I work
Sessions are collaborative and practical. We focus on what’s happening for you now, make sense of the patterns underneath, and work on tools you can use day to day. Counselling can be short-term and focused, and if more specialised or medical support would help, I’ll help you find the right referral.
Practical details
I’m a Registered Counsellor (HPCSA). Sessions are R650, in person at my garden practice in Rondebosch or online, and can be claimed from medical aid depending on your plan.
